Starting Tai Chi classes at Shaolin Center of Seattle was one of the best decisions I ever made. Master Sarah is very knowledgeable. The material can be as intense and as challenging as you want/need... it to be, which allows people from all walks of life to give it a shot. I personally herniated a disk in my lower back, which made me re-think my back and routines. I started Tai Chi at the recommendation of a doctor, and it literally helped me walk right and be flexible again. I highly recommend this to anyone who is struggling with an injury or a disability. It has been very successful for me and I look forward to many more years of learning and discovering this ancient art!read more

My boyfriend and I joined about four and a half years ago. It's been great! The school is really friendly and welcoming for all skill/fitness levels. There is lots of material to keep you continually... engaged and drive you to improve. One of the best decisions we've ever made - we are both a lot more active and confident now, and still improving. Gives us something to do together and to talk about, both in class and out, and helps us individually stay focused and centered in life. We've also made a ton of friends! Come join in! :)
